Mark Beck and his wife Joyce founded The Boulevard Group in early 2000, offering web design, development, and SEO services to small businesses and non-profits in the greater NY/NJ area. Around 2008, Michael Savino met Mark and worked there for a short period of time, assisting with project management.

In 2017, the company rebranded to Stellar Webdev, shifting its focus to custom web development for web designers, marketing/branding firms, and digital agencies. Mark’s primary goal was always to provide excellent service and communication, ensuring that outsourced web development projects were completed without the common pitfalls that many businesses face.

When Mark decided to retire, his first choice to support Stellar’s clients was Michael Savino and Nexus Box™. Michael’s commitment to quality and communication made Nexus Box™ the perfect fit to take these clients and their websites to the next level.

Graduating from Susquehanna University in 1983 with a degree in Computer Science and a minor in Business, Mark embarked on a dynamic career. He worked as a programmer analyst for a national construction company, a major US insurance company, and a Wall Street firm. Each role honed his skills and broadened his perspective, setting the stage for future entrepreneurial success.

In the 1990s, Mark transitioned to a career as a financial planner, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt to new challenges. By the late 1990s, as the World Wide Web was taking off, Mark and his wife seized the opportunity to form The Boulevard Group. Their venture was fueled by a passion for technology and a vision to help small businesses thrive in the digital age.

Under Mark’s leadership, The Boulevard Group evolved into Stellar Webdev, focusing on custom web development. His commitment to excellent service and clear communication became the cornerstone of his business philosophy. Now, as Mark enters retirement, he looks forward to indulging in travel, golf, cooking, and finally learning to play the piano that has been in their home for the past 40 years.
